Student-Athlete Scholars (SAS) is proud to honor one of its graduating members, Kishan Master. Kishan, who hails from Orange, CA, represents the best qualities of our distinguished society of high-achieving student-athletes: ambition, mentorship, and community leadership.
Since he was five, Kishan has shown a powerful dedication to the sport that fuels his fire: soccer. His love for the game has stayed with him throughout his academic journey, proving the vibrancy of his prowess both on the field and in the classroom. Kishan not only played varsity for four robust years but also aspires to continue this passion after his college years.
As a part of SAS, Kishan has embodied the essence of this merit-based society that recognizes and supports the highest-performing student-athletes on a state and national level. The goal of our organization is not just to get Kishan and others like him into their top schools but also to ensure that their remarkable accomplishments are recognized by admission boards as the feats of high-achieving scholars that they are.
One key aspect of the SAS experience is mentorship. Kishan, like many other scholars within the network, has benefited from the wisdom and shared experiences of those who have navigated the college admission process before him. Even more so, this network provides an opportunity for Kishan and others to step into the role of a mentor, aiding the upcoming students and demonstrating leadership.
Cultivating a multifaceted persona is crucial in the college admissions landscape. With guidance from admissions counselors experienced in balancing athletics and academics, Kishan has excelled in showcasing his diverse set of skills and abilities. The meticulous balance between grades, sports, and admissions applications is a delicate dance, one that Kishan has mastered tactfully, avoiding burnout and maintaining a high standard of performance.
Moreover, Kishan’s involvement in community service and leadership activities has been a crucial component of his journey, aligning perfectly with the SAS’s emphasis on community-building and service. Colleges often seek students who demonstrate this blend of personal achievement, service, and leadership, characteristics, Kishan effusively showcased.
As we bid farewell to our graduating class of 2025, we applaud Kishan Master and his fellow SAS scholars. They have successfully navigated the challenges of college admissions while excelling in their sports and academics. We are excited to witness their journeys post-graduation and trust that they will continue to embody the principles and values of the Student Athlete Scholars society.
