Celebrating Tycen Kekoa Nademlejnsky: A Blazing Beacon of the Class of 2025 SAS Graduates

The Student Athlete Scholars (SAS) society continually recognizes and champions the best performing student-athletes across the nation. As we send off our Class of 2025 graduates, it is with pride and satisfaction that we spotlight Tycen Kekoa Nademlejnsky, a student athlete who has excelled in his endeavors, and whose story of personal growth, hard work, and determination exemplify the values of SAS.

Nademlejnsky is a young man of many passions and talents. Born in Hawaii, where he was introduced to surfing before he could even walk, his love for water sports was embedded from a young age. This most certainly did not hinder his enthusiasm for other sports as he swiftly found a new passion at five; soccer. Starting as a striker, he has since transitioned to the goalkeeper’s position. Transferring the nimble agility of a surfer to the soccer field, he envisions carrying his fervor for soccer into university.

The Alberta, Calgary resident is the embodiment of SAS’s culture of mentorship. As he progressed in his athletic journey, he consistently took opportunities to guide and inspire those coming up behind him. His mentorship journey is a testament to leadership and a torchbearer for the values of community building encouraged by SAS.

His passion doesn’t stop on the field or in the water. Beyond sports, Tycen has nurtured a love for photography and writing in his spare time. His broad interests speak volumes of his multifaceted persona, another trait SAS encourages within its members.

In the realm of academics, Nademlejnsky has upheld an impressive GPA. He illustrates the balance between athletics and academics SAS believes every student athlete can achieve, showcasing the importance of maintaining strong academic performance while excelling in sports. With inspirations to become an entrepreneur, he plans to study business at university, demonstrating his ambition and signaling a bright future.

Through SAS’s network of high-achieving scholars, Nademlejnsky has learned to navigate his way through admissions and scholarship application processes. This resourcefulness is coupled with his unwavering commitment to service, which aligns perfectly with SAS’s ethos that our scholars can be better students and better alumni.

Tycen Kekoa Nademlejnsky, Class of 2025, stands as an emblem of achievement, leadership, and the promise of excellence that comes with being a part of the Student Athlete Scholars society. As he transitions into the next phase of his academic and athletic journey, there is no doubt that he will continue to inspire the next generation of scholars that follows in his footsteps. Congratulations, Tycen, and best of luck at your chosen university!
