The Student Athlete Scholars (SAS), a prestigious society devoted to acknowledging and cultivating the talents of standout student-athletes nationwide, takes immense pride in commemorating the remarkable accomplishments of our graduating seniors. As we prepare to bid adieu to the Class of 2025, we cast a spotlight on one awe-inspiring member of this group, Nate Stallard, from Overland Park, Kansas.
Nate Stallard perfectly embodies the mission of the SAS organization. Combining his passion for athletics with a profound commitment to academic excellence, he has continuously excelled in high school baseball and academically-focused organizations. As the consummate team player, he has wholeheartedly embraced every aspect of baseball, from teamwork to competition, using it as a springboard to motivate not only himself but also his peers.
More than just an accomplished baseball player, Nate has leveraged the same dedication and tenacity demonstrated on the baseball diamond to his collegiate pursuit, bringing together his dual passions. He aims to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and/or Health Science from Quincy University in the Fall of 2025. To further highlight his achievements, Nate has secured both an athletic and academic scholarship, a testament to his skill and commitment in both arenas.
Being a part of the SAS has furnished Nate with unparalleled access to mentorship opportunities, application strategies for academically robust athletes, and the chance to contribute to his community. His journey through SAS exemplifies the benefits of the program, showing how multi-faceted students can shine brilliantly in their college admissions process.
By embracing our goal to aid high-achievers in getting recognized by top colleges, Nate has successfully navigated this often-complex journey, acquiring essential skills in balancing sports, academics, and application processes with aplomb. His work showcases the potential in every SAS member to not only avoid burnout in the face of these multiple commitments but also to thrive.
Furthermore, the SAS community has truly benefited from Nate’s commitment to service and leadership. His contributions have invariably strengthened our organization and it’s a joy to see such a stellar individual leave a positive mark on the society and his peers.
We eagerly anticipate the future accomplishments of Nate Stallard and other departing members of the SAS class of 2025. We strongly believe that these alumni will continue to embody the SAS mission, valuing their community, striving for leadership, and always reaching their full potentials both athletically and academically. On behalf of the SAS, we extend our congratulations to Nate and wish him all the best in his future endeavors at Quincy University.
