Congratulations to SAS Graduating Senior for Class of 2025: N’Gai Washington Natson Jr.

The Student Athlete Scholars (SAS) proudly commemorates one of their finest members, N’Gai Washington Natson Jr., a superior example of academic prowess and athletic tenacity as he graduates with the class of 2025.

 

N’Gai, a testament to the SAS mission from Oakland, California, merits recognition for his remarkable achievements, both scholarly and athletically, he represents the very best in his state and across the nation.

 

As a high-flyer from Bayhill High School, N’Gai exhibits the ethos of SAS in his relentless commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field. With an eye on a future career in technology and media, he mined invaluable experience from his involvement with the Hidden Genius Project, showcasing his enthusiast tendencies.

 

Demonstrating his leadership qualities, N’Gai served two fulfilling years as the Vice President of the College Bound Academy, pouring his energy into organizing events designed tosupport his peers on their respective journeys to college. In addition, his fervent commitment to community service led him to St. Vincent de Paul and the Lean a Hand Foundation, further proving his dedication to shaping society positively.

 

His athletic prowess is none the less impressive. As a vital member of the OUSD CIF Skyline High School swim team, N’Gai showcased his grit and perseverance, particularly shining in the 4×100 relay where he led his team to the CIF championship.

 

N’Gai’s outstanding achievements have unlocked acceptance letters from prominent colleges such as Cal Poly Humboldt, Howard University, Fresno State, Biola University, and Morehouse College. N’Gai plans to pursue a degree in Communication and Journalism with a keen focus on Broadcast and Multimedia.

 

Inspired by a childhood filled with games that stirred his passion for storytelling, N’Gai is determined to navigate his career towards sports communication that amplifies diverse voices, bringing the narratives of others to prominence.

 

We express our sincere congratulations to N’Gai as he transitions from the SAS community to the next chapter of his journey. As an exemplary scholar-athlete, his story continues to inspire others, reminding them that being multi-faceted is a boon—an attitude that SAS nurtures within each scholar.
