Meet Chloe H Hartlep, a Lexington-based academic prodigy and a nationally acclaimed softball player, whose star got brighter as she forges her path from high-school to her dream college. As a Student Athlete Scholar (SAS), Chloe has proven her mettle not only through her academic prowess but also through her athletic skills, setting a new standard of excellence.
Being a part of SAS – a merit-based fraternity of high performing student-athletes – Chloe, like her peers, is a high achiever aiming to get admission in top colleges.
For Chloe, the Student Athlete Scholars community has been paramount in her journey. It is where she connected with other stellar student-athlete scholars, offering and gaining insights about college admissions. Through this network, Chloe experienced the power of guidance, mentorship, and leadership shaping her understanding of the expectations and processes of college admissions.
Recognized as a multi-talented individual, Chloe has exerted efforts to balance her schedule, managing her high grades, commitment to sports, and the demands of college applications without burning out—a feat every SAS member aspires to achieve.
Chloe’s drive to serve her community and exhibit leadership reflects in her endeavors at SAS. Her proactive involvement in local chapters gave her opportunities to foster a community spirit, demonstrating to colleges her potential to be an ideal student and an excellent alum.
From being a high-ranked softball player, to showing dedication towards Biochemistry and committing to a Pre-Medicine track at Amherst College, Chloe sets an impressive example. With a profound love for Music, she continued to charm her peers with her violin harmonies whilst also diving into understanding American Sign Language.
Her passion extends beyond the realm of education and sports to aspire becoming a neonatologist and work with a humanitarian initiative such as “Doctors Without Borders.”
Chloe’s journey from a rising student-athlete to a Student Athlete Scholar showcases her resilience, dedication, and the ability to balance her multifaceted interests with grace. 2025 will see the emergence of Chloe as a beacon of inspiration for future SAS scholars, demonstrating that academic prowess combined with passion, service orientation, and sports, can make for a powerful blend enriching one’s experience at both personal and community level.
