SAS – Student Athlete Scholars is proud to announce the achievements of one of its dedicated members, Zane Allen of Sayre High School, as he approaches his graduation in the Class of 2025.
As a society, SAS recognizes high performing student-athletes, shining a light on the fruits of their hard work, both in athletics and academics. SAS places great value on its members demonstrating dedication, leadership, mentorship, and community involvement – qualities that colleges search for and Zane Allen undoubtedly possesses.
Zane Allen, a 17-year-old multi-talented athlete from Sayre, Oklahoma, excels in football, basketball, and track. Showcasing his athletic prowess and academic commitment, Zane has secured a place at Southern Nazarene University this fall, where he will further his skills in Football and Track on a well-earned scholarship. This critical stage in Zane’s life not only signifies a personal achievement but also showcases the reality of SAS’s goal – in assisting high-achieving students gain admission into their top college choices.
It is worth mentioning that no journey to success is without obstacles. Here at SAS, we acknowledge that balancing high grades, sports, and admissions applications can lead to burnout under the pressure of high performance. However, SAS helps its members turn this pressure into an opportunity. Through mentorship networks within our society, student athletes like Zane have been able to network with their peers, gaining insights into expectations and the experience of the admission process. It’s a collaborative journey that embodies leadership and mentorship, communicates resilience, and consequently adds weight to college admissions.
Beyond sporting and academic achievements, Zane has a love for spending time with his friends and family and holds a fervor to strengthen his education and relationship with God.
